阿匹婆走了
文英阿姨走了
我身邊有兩個朋友的至親和摯愛也走了

生病
車禍
還有莫名其妙的被搶匪槍殺
這個世界就是這麼殘忍

follow颱風的新聞好幾天
終於在BBC網頁上看到橡皮艇翻覆的片段時
在商學院流下眼淚

今天早上
什麼事也沒做
一直在看新聞

朋友很驚訝
我看個BBC就可以哭
如果看TVBS或中視怎麼辦
我相信現在台灣每天的新聞都像災難片

我安安穩穩的在英國
時常下的大雨並不會造成災害
竟讓我覺得十分愧疚
有一種為什麼會拋下台灣而自己在這邊安逸的罪惡感

我瘋狂的在fb上po了一大堆連結
想讓世界知道台灣正在受什麼樣的苦
但心有戚戚的
真的只有台灣人
我想他們自己也有自己的苦吧

我不是受災戶
但我在地震中失去過朋友
也在颱風過後替鄰居清洗爛泥
更深深知道那種一兩個禮拜沒水沒電
餐餐都得吃泡麵的日子

我很幸運
過去淹水最高只有到腰部
而且我家住三樓
總是能趕在淹水前把車停到高處
現在河堤蓋好了，從此不再淹水

現在，我有機會為了論文煩惱
晚上睡覺壓力到磨牙
跟教授meeting前一晚緊張得睡不著
還擔心結果分析不出來
我覺得
我好幸福

台灣加油！
我在英國幫大家加油！

i was watching the video clips taken by the journalists in taiwan
and trying to hold back my tears cuz i'm at business school at the moment
but still
the videos, the news articles
wet my eyes

the place covered by mud is my motherland
the place where it used to be green
with people living, laughing, and hard working

my family is fine
no loss at all
this time

we all know how that feels like
we've been through together with thousands of typhoons and earthquakes
these natural hazards have taken lives from our family and friends
yet have made us united
there is no you and me
no blue or green
there is us
we proud Taiwanese

please pray for Taiwan
whether you're a Taiwanese or not
please pray for my country, my people
as the prayer does help us to overcome

God bless Taiwan.
God bless my people.
