finally i'm here, in sigapore.
last night, me and carina finished the long long flight,
got rid of the annoying kids, and arrived in Singapore.

while we were waiting for sean at the airport, we saw some soldiers carrying machine guns, walking around, spying.
it made us really nervous; as if there would be some terrirists showing up at any time.
sean said the airport of singapore is one of the spot that will get attacked easily, and those soldiers are there everyday.
after about 40 minutes, sean showed up.
we went to take a nice and big cab to his place at Woodlands.

his place is what we called 囯宅 in taiwan.
a lot of people sharing a tall building.
his place is just as big as our apartment, and his place is sooooooooo neat and clean!
he said his mum mops the floor 3-4 times a week, and 3 times per mopping!!!
we're staying in a spare room in his place.

this morning, sean went tutoring, and we woke up at 10am.
his mum brought us downstairs to a market to have breakfast.
we had "kopi" (coffee with milk and sugar) and kaya toast.
his mum had "kopi-o" (coffee with only sugar) and some 炒米粉 and 炒麵 with some 小魚乾
those are yuuuuuum!

after breakfast, his mum went to buy some 馬票, and we went to take bus #912 to MRT Woodlands station.
we took the MRT and transfered at City Hall station to Bugis station.
Sean was waiting for us in a MacDonald's around the station.
we found him, and added some value into my SingTel phone.
at that time, i felt something's wrong in my belly, so me and carina went to a public toilet.
the toilet costs!! we had to pay to get in, it costs 10 cents.

we went to have our lunch-- ro骨茶 (can't type the word "meat")
yuuuuummmmer! but i've heard that the one in malaysia will be better.
after lunch, we walked to Little India.
our first stop is Abdul Gaffoor Mosque, it's an Muslims' temple.
the archetecture is the combination of southern indian and european style.
soooooo stunning!
before we went into the temple, we had to take off our shoes and also socks.
girls are not allowed to go into the temple building without wearing their traditional robe.
so we put on the robes and took some pictures in the temple.
the robe is too big, too long, and too hot!

after the temple, we went around Little India.
there are like tons of indian people walking around.
to my surprise, most of them are really polite and friendly.
after little india, we went to a flea market near by Arab Street.
it was quite fun, but nothing worth buying.
most of the things are dirty and old.
we wandered in the flea market, seeing a lot of guys buying "A movie", hahaha...
and then we went to Arab Street.

by the name "Arab Steet" we can know that that's an Arabian district.
we went to a Arabian perfume store that i've always wanted to go.
the owner is so friendly (of course he is, he wants to sell things!)
i bought two bottles of perfume, white lily and... i forgot, one is for Serena.
i also bought a delicate bottle, and the total is 40 SG dollars. not bad!
while we were walking around Arab St, we stopped at a carpet store.
i've always heard that the Persian carpets are very beautiful and expensive.
that's true. except for that it's not that expensive.
i got one for 22 SG dollars, but sean said it could be cheaper.
nevermind.

and then, we went to Suntec City.
it's a big shopping mall founded by 李家誠, the richest guy in HK.
i'm pretty surprised that most of the things are cheaper than those that have the same quality in taiwan!
i decided to buy a dress for my "thank-you-teacher banquet", and it'll only cost less than NT$2500!
well, i'm not sure if i'll have enough money left after i get back from malaysia.
anyway, that's really nice, both the prize and the quality.
we had some Ben's and Jerry's ice cream, sooooo yum!

and then, we went back home and have dinner cooked by his mum.
his baby niece seemed didn't like us and the toy very much, hahaha...
we're going to Chinatown tomorrow and going to Redang at night.
hope everything will be ok, and also hope i'll have enough money for shopping.

done for today.
